Allen is originally from Minnesota where he got his start editing video announcements for his high school morning show.   The students were entertained, but he got in trouble with this teacher for making them too silly. 

In college he received a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and Electronic Arts.   

He has worked as an editor at POP TV, TV GUIDE NETWORK, MAYO CLINIC, WHO! PRODUCTIONS (which he also co-created), among many others.   He has done everything from entertainment packages, comedy shows, reality shows, and even surgery videos.

Allen is comfortable taking the reins on a project, but he is also very collaborative if the client prefers to be more involved.  It all depends on what the client is more comfortable and happy with.
